The app requires several permissions to function, including USB access for detecting the SmartScope, access to your filesystem for saving waveform data, network access for uploading saved waveform data and detecting a SmartScope on the local network, and microphone access for audio jack input. Please note that if your device doesn't support USB on the go, you won't be able to use the SmartScope, but you can still try the app by downloading the APK from the LabNation website.
